Important Note: Before proceeding, ensure your WiFi Ranger is disconnected from the power source.

This guide will help you swap the SIM card in your WiFi Ranger outdoor router.

Steps:

  1. Access the SIM Card:

  • Remove the rear shroud by squeezing the bottom and pulling it back. This is where the SIM card is typically located.

  • If you don't see a rectangular rubber box containing the SIM card, refer to the Universal SIM Swap guide for your specific model at [Insert link to Universal SIM Swap guide].

  1. Remove the SIM Card:

  • Gently pull out the rubber SIM holder from the cavity.

  • Open the lid of the holder to access the SIM card.

  • Press the SIM card to release it from the spring-loaded slot and remove it.

  1. Insert the New SIM Card:

  • Align the new SIM card with the notched corner facing inward and the contacts facing the board.

  • Press the SIM card firmly into the slot until it clicks into place.

  1. Reassemble the Router:

  • Place the rubber SIM holder back into the cavity.

  • Reattach the rear shroud by aligning the top edge about 3 inches down from the top of the housing at an angle.

  • Push in and up from the bottom, squeezing the bottom through the latches in the base.

Additional Tips:

  • Handle the SIM card carefully to avoid damage.

  • Ensure the new SIM card is compatible with your WiFi Ranger model.

  • After swapping the SIM card, you may need to reconfigure cellular settings within the WiFi Ranger's control panel.

  • If you encounter any difficulties, refer to the WiFi Ranger user manual or contact their customer support.

By following these steps, you should be able to successfully swap the SIM card in your WiFi Ranger outdoor router.
